Sheryl Wilkinson from Glasgow Middle School wrote:
I would like to nominate Meghan as WBKO Student of the Week. Meghan is an eighth grade student at Glasgow Middle School. She is involved in a varied of school clubs and activities, as well as being active in her local church. She is a member of the Glasgow Middle School Highland Cadets. She also volunteered her time this fall to help with the Glasgow High School Scottie Marching Band. Meghan is on the GMS Academic Team, is a member of the GMS Jr. Beta Club and Art Club, and serves as president of this year’s GMS chapter of the National Junior Art Honor Society. She has maintained an outstanding GPA throughout her years at GMS and is one of only 16 GMS students enrolled in an on-line high school course through Virtual High School (VHS).
Meghan recently attended the West Regional Kentucky Youth Assembly (KYA), along with approximately 1,300 other Kentucky middle school students. She chose to participate in the Judicial Program at KYA, and out of the 46 students who were involved in this program; she was recognized as the top judicial participant. Glasgow Middle School would like to congratulate Meghan on this honor, as well as on her hard work and dedication. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank her for always representing Glasgow Middle School in such an impressive and inspiring manner.

Caleb Skaggs, son of Kevin and Pam Skaggs, is a 13-year-old, eighth grader at Moss Middle School.
