This week's Students of the Week, are five hard-working, deserving students, who not only work hard to better themselves, but the people around them as well.

Joel Thinnes, a fifith grade math teacher at Highland Elementary, wrote:

I would like to nominate five students from my fifth grade homeroom class as the WBKO Students of the Week. In the picture from left to right there is: Kayla, Jennifer, Rachel, Trevor and Regan.

Each of these five students demonstrates outstanding effort and behavior each day. They not only work hard at their own studies, but are always willing to help their teacher and other students. I feel they excel as students and people because they strive to make those around them better.

They are in my homeroom class at Highland Elementary in Glasgow, Ky.

If you would like to nominate a derserving student for WBKO's Student of the Week, email us your student's name, a brief reason for nomination and a photograph, to internet@wbko.com.
