Studies show that married couples live longer and happier lives, but there's one thing that's still getting some married women upset--they're the ones doing the cleaning!

A new study states that overall women spend seven extra hours a week vacuuming and dusting.

So what are the men doing?

According to the study, most men tend to work more outside the home, while women take care of the house.

And if you have a child?

Well for many women the household work doubles once they have a child!

What do you think? Do you feel that wives are doing more around the house than their husbands?

Should husbands start helping out their wives more?

Also, on the Dot-Com Desk, there are tons of cell phones out there geared at young adults and teens, but what about the older crowd?

One company called GreatCall has stepped up to the plate with cell phones made just for seniors.

The Samsung Jitterbug and the Jitterbug One Touch are rising in popularity.

The phones have large buttons and a bright keypad, so you don't have to worry about all that high tech mumbo jumbo.

Would you purchase a Jitterbug? Why or why not?

Let me know!

If both work outside of the home, then both should work inside the home as well. I grew up listening to "that's women's work"....hogwash! This is a new era....50/50.

I think most men are lazy and think once they've married that the woman should treat him the way their mother did when they were at home with her. When you become a couple everything should become equal, even house work.

My husband is a huge help around the house. We have two kids and both work full-time. If he didn't help, we would probably live longer and happier with different spouses. Also, don't underestimate paying someone to come in every week or two to deep clean for you...

the one that does not work outside the home is the one that should do the majority of the household duties. Wether it be the male or the female...Doesn't mean that person should be a "slave" for the other family members. It's a hot subject at my house (my husband and I both work)we try to share 50/50 but sometimes it gets a little unbalanced and I end up doing more...usually I just have to ask for help...sometimes that makes me more angry...because I think it should be obvious what needs to be done...too bad we're not all wealthy enough to have a housekeeper!!
