BG Noon Rotary Announces Upcoming Meeting Plans, Programs, Speakers and Topics

12 noon

Bowling Green Country Club
August 6, 2014: “Are You Ready for Some Football?!” . . . It’s our annual peek at the upcoming high school football season as the local coaches are all invited to share their insights and predictions.

August 13, 2014: Michael Flood, Chairperson, Screaming Eagle Honor Flight . . . Michael is a 25-1/2 year Veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired First Sergeant. He first got involved in Honor Flight in January 2013 as a Volunteer and Guardian for Music City Honor Flight in Nashville, Tennessee. After it stopped making flights in May 2013 he found another hub in Tullahoma, Tennessee “Honor Flight Middle Tennessee” which he got involved in October 2013. After seeing the number of veterans traveling from South central Kentucky and North central Tennessee to fly on their flights Michael decided in January 2014 to start a hub in Clarksville, Tennessee to serve those Veterans in the area. Michael still remains semi active with Honor Flight Middle Tennessee today and went as a Guardian on their flight on May 10, 2014. Michael is also a Lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11160 in Clarksville and also the Disabled American Veterans.
