Arts On Main Presents HARP TWINS

On Saturday June 20, the Allen County-Scottsville Arts Council will host the second event of its 2015 Arts On Main summer concert series with a performance by Harp Twins.

Hailing from Chicago, this harp duo features the talents of twin sisters Camille and Kennerly Kitt. The classically trained harpists will perform an evening of their original arrangements of classic rock/heavy metal, pop, and movie theme music for duo harp. To their credit, the act has over ten viral videos (500,000+ views) and five videos with over 1,000,000+ views on YouTube.

This FREE and open to the public outdoor concert event will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Arts On Main pavilion at 201 East Main Street in historic downtown Scottsville KY, with an adjacent rain locale at the Allen County Cooperative Extension Agency (200 East Main Street). Bench seating is limited, so be sure to bring enough blankets and lawnchairs for the entire family.

On Saturday June 13, the Allen County-Scottsville Arts Council will host the season premier of its 2015 Arts On Main summer concert series with a performance by Emi Sunshine.

On behalf of one of its youngest veterans, The Grand Ole Opry states, "It's impossible to explain the exceptional talents of EmiSunshine, a 10-year-old East Tennessee prodigy who has captured the nation's attention as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Steeped in Appalachian music, she is a true vocal stylist..."
