Metcalfe County Relay for Life Celebrity Barbecue Cook off

Leftwich Hall @ Bowling Park
The Metcalfe County Relay for life Committee and teams are hosting a Celebrity Barbecue cook off. The event will be held Saturday May 16th. The time is 5-7pm and will be held in the Leftwich Hall at Bowling Park.
This group cooks will be a delightful array of foods for out tasting pleasure. I invite everyone to attend and vote for his or her favorite cooks dish. The cost to sample the dishes is only $5.00. This $5.00 will get you an armband to allow you to sample all that you want, a drink and a ticket to vote with.
There will be a cake auction following the tasting. Each Relay for Life team will have cakes for auction and all the proceeds from the evening go to Relay for Life.

Drive For A Cure

Bale Tobacco Warehouse #1, Horse Cave
A tractor drive, both antique and modern, to benefit Relay For Life in Hart County. All proceeds will be donated to American Cancer Society. The ride will begin and end in Horse Cave after traveling throughout the countryside of Hart County. Lunch will be provided by Dairy Queen of Munfordville. A live auction will follow the ride and meal. There is an entry fee of $25.00 per tractor.

The 4th ANNUAL WOODSON HOUSE GARDEN FESTIVAL SAT MAY 9th from 10-4 CST. Sponsored by The Hart Co Historical Society & the WOODSON HOUSE GARDEN FESTIVAL & VICTORIAN TEA is held in Munfordville on the grounds of the Battle for the Bridges Preserve. The Garden Festival is free and is the premiere garden event of the season! Booths, entertainment and the Ladies Tea will be located on the grounds of the historic Woodson House. There will be garden items, plants, demonstrations, art displays, historical displays, book signings, music, refreshments, handcraft booths by local artisans and a few surprises! A Victorian Tea is from 2-4, seating is limited! Purchase your Victorian Tea tickets early for a discount! Early Ticket prices: adults $15, children 12 and under $5. Prices increase the day of the Tea to: adults $20, children 12 and under $10. Tickets for the Victorian Tea would make an excellent Mother’s Day Gift!
