Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Annual Walk-A-Thon

SSBC will be holding our annual Walk-A-Thon to raise money for the "Cassady's Annual Children's Christmas Benefit" held in November. The Walk-a-Thon will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 8am-12pm at Edmonton Memorial Park football field. Snacks and drinks will be served. Everyone is welcomed! A Beautiful Mess 5K Fun RUn
A Beautiful Mess Fun Run is a vibrant interactive 5k race producing a focus on high energy and LOTS OF COLOR. During the race YOU and your family are a canvas that’s plastered with color bombs and tsunami's of rainbows from each color station as participants splash to the finish line at the fairgrounds where the color meets the party! With nothing but a colorful disaster from start to finish, families and participants will strive through the race while creating a portrait simultaneously! So come make this 5k race one to remember in love and color! A Beautiful Mess will be held in Madisonville, KY, Saturday October 18th beginning at 9 a.m. and ends at the fair grounds. All proceeds benefit Light of Chance's Breathe Youth Arts Program.

Food Allergy Awareness Walk

Feast Food Allergy Awareness Walk will be a one mile, non-competitive walk. This event is food-free and the course is paved, so feel free to bring your wagons and strollers and have the entire family participate. The event will be held rain or shine, and all registered participants will receive a t-shirt. The registration and shirt are free and a food free festival will begin immediately following the Awareness Walk. All is welcome but we are requesting to please do not bring food for this is a food-free event.
3rd Annual MUD HAPPENS--One Bad Mud Run

Registration is now open for this muddy 3 mile or so, obstacle course fun run. No serious people allowed; help your neighbor; No whining or being grumpy; No pushing, shoving, crying or biting; Leave valuables at home; Wear old clothes and shoes (they may not make it home); Bring a trash bag to put muddy clothes into take home; No babies/strollers/ dogs/fish/birds, etc; Don’t worry about finishing fast—finish with style; rest of the rules we’ll make up as we go! Awards will be given: Fastest (Male and Female), Dirtiest, and Best Costume (Male, Female and Group). Participants may receive a T-shirt, a finisher’s award and other great prizes. REGISTER NOW and support the Family Enrichment Center in our mission to empower families and prevent child abuse.
