Wind Advisories
Wind Advisory |
A
Wind Advisory may be issued if there are sustained
winds of 31-39 mph for a period of one hour or longer, or if there are gusts in the 46
to 57 mph range for any duration of time. |
High Wind Warning |
For a High Wind Warning to be issued, there must be
sustained
wind speeds of 40 mph or greater lasting for one hour or longer, or winds
of 58 mph or greater lasting for any duration. |
