When natural disasters strike... it's important to have a plan in place.
Ready.Gov emergency plans:
- have a plan
- have pre-paid phone cards, change on hand
- emergency plans at business/school
- listen to tv, radio stations
Ready.Gov says having a plan is important because your family may not be together.
The website says calls out of town are easier to make so it's important to have an out-of town contact to communicate between members.
Make sure your family has pre-paid phone cards or change on hand.
Inquire about emergency plans at your business or school.
And, of course, listen to your radio and t-v broadcast for the latest information.
