BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - As many know, there will only be one polling location in every county in Kentucky for this year’s primary election due to COVID-19. Warren County’s location will be at Phil Moore Park and will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

”The polling location is all the way out in Alvaton and that our GO bus cannot leave the city limits, so there’s no public transportation option for folks to get to the polls tomorrow and we wanted to be sure if someone wanted to go vote tomorrow that they had access to vote,” said Reverend Megan Huston, First Christian Church.

If you need a ride to Phil Moore Park there are three options for transportation:

-Buses leaves every 30 minutes from Mount Zion Church and Lampkin Park

-Buses leave at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. from First Christian Church, BG Towers, Southern Lanes, Moss Middle School

-Call (270) 843-6071 for a ride at any time

“So we have housing authority vans running, we have church buses running that are at several of our locations, s o it’s an assortment of community organizations,” said Reverend Huston. “We’re going to be practicing social distancing in the van, so like a 12 person van will only have three maybe four people in it. We’ll have masks that we’re giving out and hand sanitizer. we’re going to be as safe as we can be.”
