Warren County Clerk on election day
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -
Just like most events, voting is a little different across Kentucky on Tuesday for the 2020 Primary.
Warren County Clerk Lynette Yates told 13 News that this year has been more challenging than years past, but says she is pleased with the way the day went.
“County Clerks across the state have done a wonderful job to step up to make this election happen. Something that didn’t exits five weeks ago and we have all stepped in and everyone has done a great job. I think it has gone really well,” said Yates.
Yates also said that this turnout has been good for this primary election.
“It has been a little bit more than what are most primaries are, so I’m pleased,” said Yates.
There will be no election night results. They will be certifying elections on June 30.
