LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – UPDATE--Around 2:30 this afternoon, the Louisville Metro Police Department were called to a suspicious RV, that was left parked near the Humana Building.

The LMPD bomb squad and K-9 units were also dispatched to the scene.

During the investigation, the vehicle was declared safe by the LMPD bomb squad around 4:00 p.m.

Streets were closed during the investigation

Louisville MetroSafe has cleared the scene.

An area of downtown Louisville is being evacuated due to an RV parked in the area.

The RV is parked near the intersection of Fifth and Main Streets, according to MetroSafe.

LMPD confirmed officers were aware and are being cautious and investigating.
