BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Rep. Brett Guthrie, (R) - KY, of Bowling Green, spoke to our WBKO Gray Washington D.C. Bureau about the COVID vaccine rollout and how the federal government and states need to work together:

”It does seem that some of our states are being overwhelmed, we have more vaccines available than people getting vaccinated and it would just be wrong to say that’s a state issue, it’s all of our issues. I think the states are best positioned to do it, but some of the states need help and the federal government needs to listen and respond to get through this crisis.”

Rep. Guthrie tweeted that he received the COVID-19 vaccine to show that he finds it safe, effective, and has no concerns about taking it. He adds that he encourages everybody to take the vaccine when it becomes available. You can read the full story here
