A traffic stop in Tompkinsville sends one man to jail on drug charges

TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - A traffic stop in Tompkinsville on Monday sends one man to jail on several drug and drug-related charges.

According to police, officers stopped Jared Lawson and shortly after began a legal search of his car where they found cash, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lawson, of Tompkinsville, was arrested on Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Synthetic Drugs, and Possession of Marijuana.
