Hot Yoga Bowling Green announces change in ownership
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Now is the time that many are making their New Year’s resolutions to hit the gym and be more active. It turns out a Bowling Green fitness facility is making some changes of its own.
Hot Yoga Bowling Green is entering its 15th year in town, and current owner Tony Bishop has announced it is changing ownership. Andrea Forsythe, a Hot Yoga instructor, has now bought the studio.
“This is something Tony and I have been talking about for several years, actually since I finished my RYT, and the timing was right. They are ready to move into retirement, still be in and out of the studio. I was ready to change careers as well and obviously my dream has now become a reality. Super fun for 2021!” said Forsythe.
Forsythe cites the variety of teaching styles and the heat as factors that draw her to the Hot Yoga fitness program.
Tony and Anice Bishop, affectionately dubbed Yoga Daddy and Yoga Mama by clients, have become synonymous with the Hot Yoga brand in Bowling Green. They tell us they’re not going anywhere. “We are going to be really closely connected with Hot Yoga. We’re going to be here a lot. When we’re not teaching we’ll probably be here a lot taking.”
