BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bowling Green is known for attracting high-profile motorsports events and in June, one beloved by locals will involve cars of a smaller size, but no less excitement!

The M&L Electrical Race for JA, presented by US Bank, is June 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at NCM Motorsports Park. It replaces the longtime Mini-Corvette Challenge, a go kart race in which area businesses raced for the Gold Cup. Junior Achievement says Race for JA will include more of the general public and be a go kart racing and STEM educational experience for the whole community.

There are race categories for teams, adults and children, certain age and height requirements and limited spots available. Learn more and get signed up here!

Awards will be given for Fastest Lap Time, Slowest Lap Time and Costume.

The Race for JA benefits Junior Achievement, in which business professionals visit classrooms to teach market-based economics and entrepreneurship.
