UPDATE: BGPD identifies homicide victim found on Glen Lily Rd.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bowling Green Police have identified the victim as 27-year-old Gregario Alberto Jimenez.


Bowling Green Police have confirmed the victim is a Hispanic male, but his identity has not been released as of 2:45 p.m Friday.

The body has been taken to Louisville for an autopsy.

Detectives spent the afternoon surveying the area for more evidence, including shell casings.

The investigation is ongoing.


Bowling Green Police now say this is considered a homicide. The shooting victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the body will be taken for an autopsy in Louisville.

Crime scene processors are gathering evidence and seeing if gunshots were the cause of death.

Detectives say they are talking to witnesses and going through traffic cameras.

Bowling Green Police converged on the 700 block of Glen Lily Road around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Caution tape outlined the area where police say a dead body had been found. At 11:28 p.m. BGPD confirmed it is now a homicide investigation. The Warren County Coroner is on the scene.
