BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - After more than a year of canceled shows and performances, the curtain will finally rise again at SKyPAC this summer.

Arts of Southern Kentucky announced its 2021-22 presentation series, which includes appearances by ACM New Male Artist of the Year Jimmie Allen, comedian Rob Schneider, gospel legend Guy Penrod, and a Broadway touring production of South Pacific.

Jeff Reed is President & CEO of Arts of Southern Kentucky. He’s also music director of Orchestra Kentucky, which kicks off the new season of shows at SKyPAC on July 17 with the music of Queen. Reed says the vocalist joining the orchestra is the lead singer from the Guitar Heroes videos. Reed said, “He’s going to be a recognizable voice and we’re going to do all the hits of Queen, so it’s going to a lot of fun, a good way to reopen.”

There is also a promotion running right now that if you buy tickets to three concerts or performances, you’ll be able to choose free tickets to another performance, including a Christmas concert.
