Warren County included in flood damage Presidential Declaration

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - On Wednesday, Warren County Emergency Management announced that Warren County residents affected by flooding from February 27, 2021 to March 14, 2021 can apply to FEMA for assistance.

Warren County is included in the FEMA Presidential Declaration by amendment on May 27 for “Individual Assistance.” As of June 1, Individual Assistance for homeowners and renters may include grants to pay for temporary housing, home repairs and other serious disaster-related expenses not met by insurance or other assistance programs.

The deadline for registration is June 23. Apply or ask questions at www.disasterassistance.gov or call 800-621-3362.

The following information should be ready when you apply:

  • Social Security Number (one per household)
  • Address of damaged home or apartment
  • Description of damage
  • Information about insurance coverage
  • Telephone number
  • Mailing address
  • Bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit of funds
