KSP releases identity of Edmonson Co. shooting victim, search for suspect continues

ROCKY HILL, Ky. (WBKO) - Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting on Rocky Hill Road.

Kentucky State Police was contacted by the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office requesting they investigate a shooting they were called to at the 1100 block of Rocky Hill Road.

Authorities say when they arrived at the scene they found 28-year-old Brett Brady of Rocky Hill with a gunshot wound to the arm.

According to a preliminary investigation Brett Brady had been in an altercation with his brother 26-year-old Cody Brady of Leitchfield.

Police say that during the altercation Cody discharged a firearm striking Brett.

They also say Cody left the scene before police arrived.

Brett was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Police are looking for Cody Brady he is described as a 6 ft. tall white man, 150 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes and is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Brady’s location is asked to call KSP at 270-782-2010.
