Light rain showers with wet snowflakes possible for today!
Staying cold and gloomy today.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - It’s a cold and dreary morning for the south central Kentucky community. Temperatures will stay in the low 40s this morning and won’t increase much this afternoon.
Highs later will only make it to the mid and upper 40s so hold on to the jacket. It will also be drizzly through the day with chance for some wet snowflakes mixing in, especially after lunch. The good news is that no travel impacts are expected. As we head into the weekend, temperatures stay cooler than average on Saturday with highs only around 50 degrees. The coolest temperatures move in Saturday night, with frost possible Sunday morning. Temperatures will rebound nicely by Sunday afternoon, with highs in the 60s. A warming trend is on the way next week, with temperatures back in the 70s, but we could be dealing with more rain and storms.
