After initial investigation, Glasgow police determined an altercation had taken place between several people after a vehicle had made “several trips” in the area before stopping at a home.

Police said the subject in the vehicle had a firearm “which led to several shots being fired and one person being struck in the hand.”

Reports indicate the victim who was shot left the scene and traveled to a home on North Race Street before going to the T.J. Samson Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing and further arrests are pending.

Smith and Brown both remain housed at the Barren County Detention Center with a $50,250 cash bond for Brown and a $25,000 cash bond for Smith, according to the Detention Center.
