"Providing free health screenings and information on healthy living, we have demonstrations like healthy cooking demos. This is certainly a good opportunity to come and talk to healthcare providers and safety agencies," said Doris Thomas, Vice President of Marketing and Development, Med Center Health.

The Med Center EMS provided ambulance tours to display how they work and their function.

The expo also included a performance by the Rockerz Dance Team, a South Central Kentucky dance team that performs choreographed dance numbers that entertain, educate, and promote a positive awareness and understanding of the talents and abilities of individuals with down syndrome.

"If improving your health is one of your New Year's resolutions for 2019, then you're at the right place and it is packed and it is a great day to come to the Sloan Convention Center because we have all of this in one location and it is free and open to the public," said Thomas.
