9/11 ceremonies in South Central Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Many in South Central Kentucky are holding special ceremonies to remember the lives lost from September 11th, 2001.

In Bowling Green:
The Forest Park Baptist church will host an appreciation luncheon for Bowling Green and Warren County emergency responders.
The event is set for 11 a.m. with students from Achored Christian School to provide music.

In Hopkinsville:
The Hopkinsville Fire department have been celebrating for a couple of days.
Starting Sunday they participated in Nashville's 9/11 memorial stair climb.
For 9/11, department will have a stair climb and memorial service at the main station. Guest speakers are expected to join.

In Morgantown:
Butler County A.T.C. students have created a memorial for Tuesday's events as well.
Instructor and retired navy veteran, Phillip Stagner says his students were not born yet but remembering is an on-going process.
The event is at noon at the A.T.C Center.

At Fort Campbell:
Fort Campbell is also taking time to reflect.
They will have a wreath laying ceremony at the Division Headquarters at 4 p.m.
This ceremony is free and open to the public.
