We avoided much of any severe weather across the area Thursday, but strong winds were still the big story. As the stormy weather moves on, we will see a return to a dry and seasonable pattern, but it will still be breezy. Highs on Friday and this weekend look to cool into the low to mid-50s, with overnight lows near freezing. The next chance for rain looks to come Wednesday night into Thursday.
