All Bowling Green Parks and Golf Courses to close Monday, March 23

The City of Bowling Green has made the decision to close all parks and golf courses effective Monday, March 23.

Effective, Monday, March 23, all Warren County Parks and Recreation Department and Bowling Green City Parks and Recreation Department Facilities will be closed until further notice.

The closure will be in conjunction with Warren County Parks and Recreation.

There is no date for when the parks and courses will reopen.

This decision was made jointly by both County Officials and City Officials to ensure all measures are being taken to encourage social distancing and to proactively try all means to ensure public health at this time.

This includes all regional parks and community parks. All gates will remain locked and all fenced in facility gates locked until further notice.

The following facilities will be locked until further notice:

Basil Griffin Park (AHP – Shelters – Basketball Courts – Playgrounds – Pickle Ball Courts – Hockey Rink – Ball Fields)

Michael O. Buchanon Park (All facilities)

Ephram White Park (All facilities)

Ed Spear Park (All facilities)

Phil Moore Park (All facilities)

G.H. Freeman Park (All facilities)

All other facilities have been posted last week (ball fields throughout county / athletic complex areas).
