UPDATE: Amber alert canceled for missing Tennessee girl

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (AP) -- UPDATE: Yazmin Linares Medina has been found safe near the search area. No additional details have been released.


Tennessee officials have issued an Amber alert for a 10-year-old girl who was reported missing from Cleveland.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued the alert Friday for Yazmin Linares Medina, who was last seen about 8 p.m. Thursday walking outside with a black jump rope.

The bureau says the girl is Hispanic, stands about 5-foot-2 and weighs about 100 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt and green/brown shorts.
