...BIG PATTERN CHANGE COMING...
Real Fall-like is about to take over! Showers and thunderstorms with a cold front will end before daybreak Thursday. Breezy northwest winds take over, sending in MUCH COOLER air! Thursday's highs will be about 20° cooler than Wednesday, only reaching the mid 60s. Overnight lows will plunge to around 40° Friday morning (even upper 30s possible for some)! We stay dry and cool into the start of the weekend. Our next rain chance comes along Sunday into Monday with yet ANOTHER shot of chilly air to follow! The potential is there for our first scattered frost of the season Tuesday morning.
Hurricane Michael made landfall at Midday near Panama City Beach, FL as a powerful Category 4 storm. The system will race into the Carolinas with gusty winds and heavy rain through Thursday. South-Central KY will see no real impact from Michael.
