Update: Man arrested in connection with O'Charley's fatal shooting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Bowling Green Police Department has arrested 44-year-old Terry Stice II, of Bowling Green, in connection with Friday night's shooting.

Terry A. Stice II, 44, of Bowling Green, charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

21-year-old Elijsha Taylor and 40-year-old Michael Russell both died from gunshot wounds.

During the investigation, detectives determined Taylor and Russell were in a physical altercation and Taylor shot Russell. After seeing Taylor shoot Russell, Stice fired numerous rounds at Taylor, striking and killing him. Another involved party then struck Stice with a vehicle and fled the scene. Stice fired more rounds at the vehicle as it was attempting to exit the parking lot.

Stice has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Stice is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.

The investigation continues.

UPDATE:
According to the Bowling Green Police Department, the second shooting victim Michael Russell has died.

At this time BGOD believes there are prior connections/ relationships between the victims and the suspect. They are proceeding with the investigation. Believing that the incident was related to a long-standing dispute between the involved parties.

The Bowling Green Police Department is working a shooting investigation at O'Charley's on Scottsville Road.

An employee with O'Charley's tells 13 News that a fight took place outside the restaurant with one person being fatally shot in the head.

BGPD said they received a shots fired call at 10:04 p.m., and when they arrived at the scene they found 21-year-old Elijsha Taylor and 40-year-old Michael Russell, both with gunshot wounds.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene and Russell was taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.

BGPD is asking anyone with information to contact them at 270-393-4000. They say this doesn't appear to be a random act of violence and there is no danger to the public.
