Boater saves 3 from submerged car

HARTFORD, Ky. (WBKO) -- A quick-thinking boater rescues a woman and two small children from a submerged car.

Ohio County Sheriff's Deputies say Kendra Garner's car got swept into flood waters off Combs Bridge Road at 6:00 a.m. Monday. Residents heard Garner's screams and called 9-1-1, while Grant Frames used his small boat to rescue Garner and the children.

Garner and the 4-year-old were taken to Vanderbilt Hospital by ambulance.
The 18-month-old was flown to Vanderbilt. All three are in stable condition.
