Body found between two buildings on State Street

The Bowling Green police Department received a call about an unresponsive person in the space between the Health Department and State Street Methodist Church Thursday morning.

When the EMTs arrived on the scene they declared the person dead.

Ronnie Ward, the public information officer for BGPD told WBKO: "When the officers arrived they did locate a man who appears to be deceased. EMS workers did find that he didn't have any signs of life. The coroner's office did respond and took possession of the body and gave us the indication that it was from natural causes."

The area between the two buildings had been cleared and the officers were still working to find the identity of the man Thursday afternoon.
