The annual Bowl For Kid's Sake by Big Brothers, Big Sisters of South Central Kentucky was held today. Southern Lanes was packed full of people bowling to improve children's lives.

The hosts said this annual event is a way to give thanks to those who help reach out to kids that may not have the best home life.

Different groups of five were able to bowl and donate to the cause.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of South Central Kentucky CEO Karen Hardin said, "Big Brothers, Big Sisters is very important. Our goal is to make one-to-one matches between our adult volunteers ... bigs, and the children ... littles. That relationship between a big and a little is really invaluable. It can make a huge impact on a child's life."

Hardin said the event and the continuous outreach by Big Brothers, Big Sisters wouldn't be possible without their sponsors and the community.
