BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Since 2013 Bowling Green has been ranked in the top ten best places to live in Kentucky; taking second place in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Those second place standings finally paid off, and many together celebrated the huge accomplishment for the city of Bowling Green. Ron Bunch, chamber CEO for the city of Bowling Green, explained what this win means for the city.
"This win is on behalf of everyone here in this room and those other in the community that are with us day in and day out," said Bunch. "Building the foundation that allows us to compete and succeed."
The chamber announced Monday that Site Selection Magazine named Bowling Green number one in performing economic development organization nationwide for cities with a population of two-hundred thousand or less.
