BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) Students in Bowling Green are getting a head start in their careers.
On May 10, the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce kicked off their annual SCK launch.
The program is a talent development strategy that allows students to shadow their dream careers.
The expo also helps students be aware of different careers before they graduate high school.The program is for eighth graders to high school students.
Superintendent of Bowling Green Schools, Gary Fields, says the program could help students better their community.
" Ultimately, our goal is to that were gonna encourage kids to make decisions that will make them want to stay in our community and help this community continue to grow."
The SCK launch will take place on November 16 at the Bowling Green High School Arena.
