BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- A Bowling Green man has been arrested after police say he crashed his moped into another car while drunk, and left the scene.

Police found Timothy Willis after they were told that, while on his moped, he had rear-ended a vehicle that was going over a speed bump at Hillview Mobile Home Park.

The victim said Willis didn't want to speak to police and drove back to his home nearby.

When police spoke with Willis, they say he had slurred speech and smelled strongly of alcohol.

Willis was jailed on charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence, driving on a DUI suspended license, and leaving the scene of an accident.
