Bowling Green man dies after falling into grain bin

A man was pronounced dead Wednesday morning after falling into a grain bin.

Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Girkin Boiling Springs Road where they attempted to dig 56-year-old Douglas Groce out of a grain bin.

Emergency personnel began providing life-saving medical attention, but the efforts were unsuccessful.

Groce was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.

No foul play is suspected.
