A car in Bowling Green unexpectedly caught fire Sunday.
The driver, says she was on her way to church, when she missed her turn and decided to turn around in the Save A Lot on Russellville Road.
While she was waiting for traffic to pass, she started to see smoke coming from the engine.
Donna Minnicks says an employee helped get a car seat out of the back and she was able to get far away from the vehicle before it caught fire.
"It's just a vehicle and they're a dime a dozen. So nobody was hurt, so that's all that matters. The good Lord was looking out for me, it's obvious."
Donna is thankful she did not have anyone else in the car.
The car fire briefly slowed traffic to one lane on Russellville Road going into town.
