...POTENTIAL FOR A HIGH-IMPACT WINTER STORM THIS WEEKEND...
A weak front arrives tonight with a little light rain and wet snow (no snow accumulation expected). Otherwise, we're dry and chilly Friday through early Saturday afternoon before things turn more active once again. A more potent storm system cutting across the Deep South over the weekend bears watching for significant rain, snow and ice potential, especially Saturday night through Monday morning. Depending on track and temperature, we could see a variety of wintry weather through that time period.
