Those clouds from the first day of 2019 will linger into Wednesday. There's a slight chance for a shower Wednesday evening along the Cumberland Plateau as a system skirts by to our south. A better chance for more widespread soaking rain returns Thursday night into Friday. The first weekend of the new year looks mainly sunny and warmer with highs in the 50s to near 60°! This will be followed by yet another chance of rain Monday evening into Tuesday.
