A convicted terrorist, who was living in Bowling Green at the time of his arrest, is asking the court to throw out his guilty plea.
Mohanad Shareef Hammadi wants his life sentence voided claiming ineffective counsel.
In federal court, Hammadi was appointed a new attorney to represent him.
A date has not been scheduled for when the judge will rule.
Hammadi pleaded guilty in 2012 to conspiring to ship thousands in cash, machine guns, rifles, grenades and shoulder-fired missiles to al-Qaida in Iraq.
