BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Vette City celebrated the new display of the 2019 Corvettes. It's enthusiasts' favorite time of year, and if you think they look nice on the outside, you should see them from the inside.
The Corvette Museum was filled with enthusiasts from all over the nation. 13 News spoke with people from Tampa, Florida and Los Angeles.
On Thursday, they were able to get a close up glimpse of the 2019 Stingray and ZR1, and they were even able to show off their own babies.
The event itself revealed cars, but it was also a way to reveal what enthusiasts are looking for.
"A lot of things that we hear from the museum, make it into the car," said Harlan Charles, the Chevrolet Corvette and Camaro Product Marketing Manager said.
"The ZR1 supposedly wasn't planned," explained enthusiast Keith Cornett. "But you start talking about customer input, you know they want to see more and more, and they come up with that."
The cars were nice loud, as expected out of America's sports car.
The celebration continues through the weekend, with the unveiling of the new Corvette colors on Friday.
