Crime Stoppers: BG Armed Robbery

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Bowling Green Police say just before 6:00 am. on Sunday November 5, a man entered a convenience store on Nashville Road near Emmett Avenue armed with a pistol and demanded money.

The clerk told officers he refused and the man fired a shot in his direction. The robber then grabbed the cash register and ran from the store.

The suspect is described as a slender white male with facial hair, wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt under a flannel jacket, white shorts, and tennis shoes. Police say as the robber left, he turned back and demanded cigarettes.
