Crime Stoppers: Convenience Store Armed Robbery

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Bowling Green Police say on Tuesday, June 28, they responded to a panic alarm from a convenience store on Hennessy Way. Employees told police a man came into the store to buy cigarettes.

As the clerk was processing the transaction, the man pulled a gun from his waistband and demanded money from the register. After the clerk complied, the man headed toward I-65 in a dark minivan

The robber is described as a heavy-set black male, wearing a Boston Celtics jersey and dark pants.
