Crime Stoppers: Credit Card Fraud

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Bowling Green Police say in December of 2017, a woman filed a report for a stolen purse while she was shopping.

The woman said she was grocery shopping, when she was approached by two women. The victim said she was distracted by one of the females, while the other took her wallet out of her purse.

In the process of canceling the cards,her credit card company told her one of her cards had been used twice at two local stores. One charge was attempted for $1,200 and the other was accepted for $1,375.

Police obtained video of the suspects as they were leaving one of the stores. Both women are black and have long hair. Both are wearing black clothing and one was carrying a large purse.
