Crime Stoppers: Stolen Credit Card

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Bowling Green Police say on April 2, a man tried to use a credit card to purchase over $400 worth of gift cards. One problem, the card was not his.

The victim told police she received an email from her bank alerting her of possible fraudulent activity. The store told police the suspect tried the card five times but, was unable to process the transactions and left the store. Police have not been able to determine how the suspect obtained the card.

The man is described as a tall black male, wearing red shorts, and a red hat. He left the area in a dark-colored passenger car with temporary plates.
