PARK CITY, Ky. (WBKO) -- Folks gathered from all over the world to Park City Thursday, to check out building and construction machinery.
The large equipment was shipped over from Ireland and demonstrated at the Chad Crabtree's rock quarry.
Evoquip is a compact brand of crushing and screen equipment. The company was started specifically to deal with the compact market which is growing since the recession according to Evoquip.
"The reason we came to Park City was that it was the right sort of material for us to crush and demonstrate the new machines that we're launching in North America this year so it was a good opportunity to bring in customers from all across the country," said Martin Conway, Sales Director of Evoquip.
The United States is one of Evoquips biggest markets globally. 40 percent of machines go to the U.S., 40 percent to Europe and the rest to Australia and New Zealand.
Customers also came in from Canada and New Zealand.
The machines are specifically used for taking rocks and turning them into a good shape so they can be used for asphalt stones, concrete stones and they also make a fine dust.
