MORGANFIELD, Ky. (WBKO) -- Kentucky State Police arrested a Henderson man Tuesday for rape after DNA linked him to the crime.

KSP began the investigation after an adult female stated she had been talking to Isaiah D. Johnson on Facebook and planned to meet in Morganfield. Investigators say when they met, Johnson forcibly raped the victim.

Kentucky State Police Crime Lab confirmed the collected DNA is that of Johnson.

The Union County Grand Jury issued an indictment warrant for Johnson’s arrest last week. Johnson was charged with Rape 1st Degree and is now lodged in Henderson County Detention Center.
