Dance Big Red makes a lot of green for Norton Children's Hospital
The third annual Dance Big Red was resounding success! Organizers had hoped the 12-hour dance marathon last Friday night would net them $50,000.
Instead, the nearly 700 WKU students who danced the night away earned $66.553.01 to support Norton's Children's Hospital. That's more than twice as much as they made last year.
The money will go toward pediatric heart and cancer care at Norton's, which provides treatment to more than 1,000 child patients a year.
