The Butler County Fiscal Court received $18,300 in County Road Aid emergency funds for slide repair on Bryant Ridge Road. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the repairs will make travel on the road safer for the residents and farms that rely upon the highway.

"It's going to help them because this road is actually a cut-through road from one are of our county to the other and without it, the farmers in that area would cause them to go 2 miles versus 20 miles to go around to go back in there farm. It was a real needed project in our area," said Tim Flener, Judge Executive.

The repairs will also benefit those using the road as a connection to KY-411.

According to KYTC, the repairs took place on Bryant Ridge Road near mile marker 4.3.
