Fatal car crash on Sunday in Allen County

KSP has named Leslie A. Adams as the person who died in the car crash in Allen County Sunday morning.

State Police say the crash happened around 9:39 a.m. near the 12000 block of Franklin Road in Allen County.

Police told 13 News that Adams was approaching a hill, and steered to avoid crashing into a stationary car that was waiting to turn. That's when they say Adams' vehicle entered into the eastbound lanes and she hit another vehicle head-on.

KSP says that vehicle was being operated by Barret A. Wright, of Bowling Green.

They say Adams was flown to Vanderbilt for her injuries, and died at 12:15 p.m.

Barrett Wright and a passenger, Larissa Harris of Franklin, were treated and released from a local hospital.

In Allen County, Kentucky State Police have confirmed there was a two vehicle accident on Sunday.

Officials say the driver of one of the vehicles was critically injured and ultimately died as a result from the crash.

KSP says the people in the other vehicle were all treated and released from medical care.

KSP says the crash happened on Franklin Road. No names have been released as officials are still trying to contact family.
